Regatta Season is Here!

Aloha gange!

The crews have been practicing for a couple weeks already, and we've already got close to thirty men who've committed to Kamehameha for this season. It's looking like it should be a pretty solid year!  Women are at two crews so far, with more returning this week.

Practices:

  • Men are practicing Mon / Wed / Fri at 5:30 pm, under Henry "Kruser" Kruse
  • Women are practicing Tue / Thur at 5:30 pm

There is a benefit race this weekend, about six miles, for men, women, and mixed crews. Contact Kimo at unclekimo@hotmail.com if you are interested.

The first official Iron Race is at the beginning of April, and the first Regatta is May 29. They're coming up fast ... so it's time to get in shape now!

We're also talking about ordering racing jerseys early this year so that we have them by the first regatta; I'll have more information by Friday or next week.

Hope to see you all on the water -

peace
MC
