Puuloa Iron

This past weekend, Kamehameha had their first race of 201, the Pu`uloa Iron, and our three crews did really well -

"Short" Course (28 crews):

Novice Men -
49.05.37; first place in division, first place overall   
(Donnie, Justin, Dominic, Cito, Andy, Josh)

Mixed Crew -
54.35.54; fourth place in division, twelfth overall  
(Kimo, Maryna, MC, Maurie, Simone, Toney)

Long Course (14 crews):

Open Men -
50.28.60; third place in division, fourth place overall  
(Kendall, Patrick, Kele, Kruser, Wyeth, Kulani)


Next Saturday it's the same course, sponsored by Windward Kai, & we want to put in full crews.   Mark your calendars, and be prepared for some strong practices this week!

And, as you see, we have enough paddlers now for mixed crews.  From the coaches: Men who can't make Monday/Wednesday/Friday, or who want to paddle five days a week, come down on Tuesday & Thursday.  Mix crews can practice then, under Uncle Sam.
